Frontespizio figurato inciso da Reinier van Persyn, brunitura leggera uniforme, legatura originale in marocchino rosso eseguita da Du Seuil con ai piatti ed al dorso le armi e le iniziali di EMMANUEL-JOSEPH DE VIGNEROT, conte di Richelieu, tagli dorati, lievi macchie e restauri al dorso. Ex libris inciso incollato al contropiatto.

Notes:
De Vignerot (1639-1655), nipote del del cardinale Richelieu, morì all’età di 26 anni mentre combatteva contro i turchi. Il conte di Richelieu aveva messo insieme una collezione di opere classiche in edizioni rare, che faceva rilegare da Du Seuil.
